Fall 2018

I had a wonderful time time giving master classes for the outstanding viola studio of Prof. Matthew Michelic at Lawrence University! Here we all are after the final performance of the Lawrence University viola retreat.

TRIO 826 Debut CD, MOSAIC, now available!

If you've been to one of our concerts, you may have noticed that we frequently program sets of short, single-movement pieces that encourage conversations with our audiences. These short pieces have become such an essential part of our repertoire that when we began to think about our first CD, it was a natural fit to showcase them.
This CD features 9 short works by composers from the Baroque to the 21st century. We hope you enjoy discovering them as much as we have!

In November 2015 I participated in a wonderful viola festival in Bogota, Colombia. I heard some wonderful violists, met and worked with some delightful colleagues, and had a wonderful time making music with new and old friends. Here are some highlights of the trip!

Viola Festival Events included master classes, viola ensembles, and a concert featuring Professor Vendryes, myself, and the viola ensembles.
