Emilia Alejo Hummel, class of 2004 (BA Education), is a teacher in Iowa City, IA.

Amy Beekhuizen, class of 2010 (MM viola performance), is teaching at the Newton Suzuki School in Boston, MA.

Stephen Baillie, class of 2002 (BA Music), is a member of the Duluth (MN) Symphony and maintains a private studio of violin and viola students.

Mariia Bogodist, class of 2012 (MM viola performance), is continuing doctoral studies in viola at Texas Tech University.

Jeremy Cameron, class of 2002 (BA Music), is Director of Orchestras for the Killeen Independent School District in Harker Heights, TX.

Krista Dotzel, class of 2009 (BA Anthropology) did graduate work at the University of Iowa and in Germany in anthropology and is now living in Germany where she works for ROCEEH (Role of Culture in the Early Expansion of Humans) in Tubingen, Germany.

Jonathan Fretheim, class of 2001 (BA Mathematics), is studying computer science at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

Ellie Hail, class of 2012 (BA) will be continuing graduate studies at UNI.

Kendra Milder Elledge, class of 2010 (BM Music Education), is Orchestra Director at Muscatine (IA) High School. Kendra and her husband Michael are expecting their first child!

Elizabeth Poe Thompson, class of 2004 (BA Music), works for the Chicago Lyric Opera.

Nadya Potemkina, class of 2006 (MM viola performance), is completing doctoral studies in orchestral conducting at the University of Memphis.

Renee Rapier, class of 2009 (BM performance, viola and voice), finished her MM in voice at UNI and is an Adler Fellow at San Francisco Opera.

Holly Schult, class of 2009 (BA Music), is teaching for the UNI Suzuki School.

Amanda Staver, class of 2010 (BM Music Education), is Orchestra Director at Waterloo (IA) East High School.

Andrew Steffen, class of 2010 (BM Music Education), is Orchestra Director at McKinley Middle School in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Suzanne Svitak, class of 2010 (BM Music Education), is Orchestra Director in the Sioux City Community Schools, Sioux City, IA.

Justin Taylor, class of 2010 (BM viola performance), is a master's student at Roosevelt University in Chicago, studying with Roger Chase.

Brianna Williams, class of 2009 (BA), lives in Kansas City and works for the US Dept. of Labor. (She has a badge.)
